Hey everyone

Today was a visit to a local shopping mall. Been extended but seems a lot of space with not much in it. Vey few shops, but very wide aisles, maybe they expect a rush over Christmas. There is a lot of floor space not being used.

That aside, we chose to go to this particular mall because it has a fantastic coffee shop. The muffins they make are so tasty. The mocha’s are just as we like them, but since the extension to the mall it has been closed, so no mocha or muffin today. Hopefully they aim to be open next month. I hope so because it is such a quiet and homely atmosphere.

Hey everyone

What is happening to our weather?

It has been hot, dry, cold and wet, then windy. No two days have been the same and you couldn’t decide to do something on a specific day because you could not guarantee the weather.

The rain is welcome though as we have had a very dry summer and my vegetables appreciate it. The garden needs weeding and some attention this weekend, just hope it is not raining!

Hey everyone

So today was out and about driving. This was just my observation.

Why do people pull out in front of you and go slow when there is nothing behind you? Why do people meander across lanes without using the orange blinkers on their vehicles?

For the most part drivers are courteous and considerate, it is only a handful. I know traffic is stink and getting to places can sometimes be a mission. I have even taken the train sometimes and watched the cars sat still on the roads and the queues seem endless.

So many people and so many cars.

Hey everyone

So, have you ever lost something and gone to the place you thought it was? When you look for it, it isn’t there?

I had that same thing this morning. I went to a drawer I thought I had filed some paperwork, only to find it not there. For the next hour, give or take, I tried to find these papers to no avail, so I decided to hoover instead.

A brain wave hit me and gave me an option to go to. After hoovering I checked a family tree folder and hey, guess what, there they were.

Man was I happy or what?

I know this is not the first time I have ever had a ‘have you ever’ moment and I don’t expect it to ne my last for some reason but hey never mind, I just laughed at myself and carried on.

Hey everyone

So this morning I thought I would get my under arms and eye brows waxed. I have done this so many times and to me it is not painful. The therapists I used in the past used to use the cloth strips to pull the wax off. Then the tweezers to get the stubborn hairs out.

The therapist I now go to uses a wax that then sets and then they just pull it off. It is so much quicker and easier. It doesn’t make any mess and am not left with a sticky feeling sometimes from a bit of wax left behind.

This morning I had my eyebrows waxed and then they threaded them to thin them out. Well I have to say that it did sting a bit, especially at the side of the eye and on top of the brow, but they do look pretty cool. Don’t get me wrong my eyebrows don’t look like the Yeti, but they do grow pretty quickly.

Hey everyone

So yesterday it was Sunday and we had some windy weather and some rains. Rains were welcomed as has been so dry over the last few months so the ground certainly needed it. I thought the winds were only yesterday, but hey guess what we have them today too. It is deceiving to know just how cold it is outside because whilst the wind makes it presence, so does the gorgeous sunshine.

I walked outside and it is not to cold either. Watched as the trees and branches swayed back and forth and banging against the fences. Some trees have started to lose their leaves and so at the weekend I will need to go out there and collect them up. The tops of the trees look like they are waving to the skyline above them, just to let them know they are still there.
