Hey everyone
So up until a couple of years ago I never really spent to much time thinking about the past or worrying about the future. Even now I don’t even think about the future as it hasn’t happened yet and so there really is no point in worrying about it.
Since a trauma a few months ago, I periodically seem to think about the past and how I maybe could have done things differently. I cannot change the past and all my thinking and re-visiting it will not alter it.
Recently I undertook a Mindfulness course and it has now taught me to stay in the present moment, a godsend for me at this time. I don’t wander into the past much at all and put all my efforts into staying in the present, I feel a lot better for it, because whatever has happened in the past had made me who I am today and I am proud of that!
