The Christmas countdown has now started, with only 11 sleeps until the big day.
This year we have been very organised and have everything in place now. Our tree went up yesterday afternoon and has been decorated including the flashing lights.
We were to have been going away in a few days to see family back home, but sadly, due to Covid, this has been shelved until next year. We hope that this will be the case anyway, although the reality may be slightly different if Covid is still around.
We have been doing a daily naughty elf update on our local community Facebook page. This has been fun, trying to think of different things for our naughty elf and our new elfette to do. We have had so much love for this and it has brought smiles to those who have seen it.
Now all we have to decide is what we are having for Christmas lunch, as the weather will probably be very hot and humid. Last year we had a fantastic barbeque, and so am thinking of a more traditional lunch this year.
