I have a Fitbit, well a Garmin fitness tracker actually, which I use all the time. It is great to monitor how many steps I take on a daily basis. It also lets me know how much sleep I have had, measures my stress levels, my calories, my heart rate, oxygen saturation levels and also my body battery level.
The one thing I am frustrated with, and it happens quite often and that is that it doesn’t sync all the time with my phone. I have cleared data, taken the app off and re-installed it and still not synching, so I don’t know why. The times that this happens is very random and as I write this, it has not been able to sync with my phone for the last 3 days. It will sort itself out, but at these times I cannot count on the data as none is actually recorded.
Sometimes though, I think using these fitness trackers can make you worry about the lack of sleep or your heart rate, purely because you spend time keep looking at the data.
I use it purely for my steps and my stress levels as I used to be a really bad over thinker. Now, I am more for living in the moment than worrying about things and so my stress levels are not so high.
