Hey everyone
I just love Winter, the cold mornings which bring on a lovely day ahead. It is always easier to put layers of clothing on to keep warm whereas in the Summer you can only take so much off and even then you are still hot and bothered.
Our houses don’t have much in the way of heating in them and only have single glazed windows, so when it is cold you need to use heaters. Last year we had a couple of heat pumps installed which has been a god send in the hot Summer and is now paying for itself in the Winter.
There are times when I really do miss our old central heating and double glazing, but that’s all good. I am happy with life here and have now truly adjusted.
