Ouch!

Hey everyone

So everyone enjoys a little Schadenfreude (experiencing pleasure from some-one else’s misfortune) I am sure.

I am sure that everyone will have taken that experience with my misfortune today. So I was outside weeding and raking and I am usually aware of things around me. I have wondered how people do this and I found out.

I raked up some weeds and moved it to one side to pick up the batch of weeds and stood up, moved sideways slightly and yea you guessed it, I stepped onto the rake. Now you can all stop laughing cos YES it bloody hurt. I never swore when the handle thumped my head but just stood there in utter disbelief. Usually I don’t leave the rake with the prongs facing towards me, but for some reason I did today.

Lesson learnt when my head, just above my eyebrow swelled up and became a lump. Laughing aside, and yes I did have a chuckle to myself for being such a silly arse. My lump is still there and I did have a mild headache and a slight neck ache.

So I had a really, really good day, hahah.
